How Healthy Are You? Free Workshop This Weekend!




The Institute of Health Sciences are inviting people to come along and take part in the free workshop, Saturday 12th December from 10am-2pm. The workshop will be held in the Education and Research Centre of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.

The workshop will cover a number of topics including discovering how healthy you really are and if the foods you are eating actually do promote optimal health. A Personal Health Questionnaire will be completed by all participants to see how well your liver, gut and immune systems are functioning. Discussions will be held about common diseases, their links to the Western diet & the ill-effects of pharmaceutical drugs. Anneliese Dressel, Course Director will explain how to use food, herbs & supplements as alternative treatments, how to use foods therapeutically and manage disease and increase energy and fitness while exploring the health benefits of some novel & super foods.

This Saturday marks the launch of The Institute of Health Sciences new ITEC Accredited Certificate courses in Dietary Coaching: Nutrition & Health and Sports Nutrition. The workshop is open to everyone however places are limited. Bookings can be made by calling 090 974 9929.
